Getty Villa

OThe Getty villa was built in 1974. It house Greek, Roman and Etruscan art. The outside garden and villa is set up like an actual Roman Garden and villa. Parking is $15. Parking is limited so you need a parking reservation. Admission is free. There are free garden, architecture and gallery tours.

Hollywood Bowl

The Hollywood Bowl is a 1920s amphitheater in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California, United States that is used primarily for music performances. The Hollywood Bowl is known for its band shell, a distinctive set of concentric arches that graced the site from 1929 through 2003, before being replaced with a somewhat larger one beginning in the 2004 season. The shell is set against the backdrop of the Hollywood Hills.


You can bring your own food and drink in and have a picnic before the show. You can bring your own alcohol.
If you don't bring a picnic you can buy food there.

You can see the Hollywood sign from your seat.

You can also eat your picnic at your seat.

Enjoy the show! 4 big screens to help you see show in case your seats are I the back.

Adamson House, Malibu

Views from the Adamson house. All the rooms extensively decorated with Malibu tile. Mrs. Adamson's mother started Malibu potteries. The Adamson's ran a dairy farm which is now known as Malibu. Really worth seeing. Just beautiful.

This is the pool from the Adamson house in Malibu. Built in 1930. It was a salt water pool. They drained and filled it every week. You can see Malibu pier in background.
